Day 3

ok so I must have jinxed myself because today was worse than yesterday but better in the fact that this little project of mine is really making me search to see God in the midst of my bad days so with that in mind let's jump right to it:

I'm Thankful...

1. I got to sleep in till 9:30 this morning.

2. I got to do most of what I needed to get done.

3. Cindia played some Uno with me today.

4. I was able to control myself today and not tear everyone's head off.

5.  It's already Sabbath!

6. That Delia gave me a ride today.

7. My leg wasn't in too much pain today.

8. My Oasis meeting didn't last 2 hours.

9. Because even tho the devil tries to stop things... the kids are still willing to work :)

10. Ileana posted a new blog today.

11. That it was sunny.

12. I have hope that Jesus is coming back for me.

13. I have peace and quiet tonite.

14. That i'm losing weight and not starving to death.

15. Lilly is on my side LOL

16. I have a new sabbath cartoon to watch while i eat my bowl of cereal in the morning.

17. That despite all the drama that comes along with my job i still enjoy it.

18. That all the Segui's are finally going to disney hope they have a blast!!

19. I'm poor because i've learned to trust in God more.

20. For crutches because even tho they are a pain they help me get to where i need to go.

and finally for today...

21. To God for his unfailing love, mercy, understanding and more importantly for his forgiveness :)

Day 2

Today was a difficult day so far... but i will press on.

I'm Thankful...

1.  That I got to take a nap this morning.

2.  For mapquest because without it i'd be more lost if that was possible :)

3.  I got handicapped parking for at least the next 3 months.

4.  Jennifer was able to give me a bit of P.T. today

5.   I cleaned the kitchen last night made things a little nicer today.

6.   I can vent and the Lord doesn't send lightning bolts at me.

7.   For Pulse FM they played my song :)

8.   I have a cell phone.

9.   I decided to start this yesterday because if it were today i probably wouldn't have done it.

10. For Trisha and Carla for being patient and understanding with me.

11.  Dr. Sohn paid good attention to my needs today

12.  Andres is in a better mood and was helpful today.

13.  My mom bought me lunch today.

14. "My" cat Joely cuz he keeps me on my toes :) 

15.  That my MRI was scheduled for next week and I don't have to wait too long.  

16.  For Asenette who cooks every tuesday for me.

17.  For all my friends/family who keep me in their daily prayers.

18. I'm on vacation starting 2morow so i can just vegetate and stay off my leg. 

19. I had a good dinner cooked by a 4 and 7 year old.

20. I finally got my state ID replaced.

21. I got to speak to Hardi today who reminded me of my past life!

Until 2morow which i hope goes better than today :)

How can I keep from singing!!

Well i was on facebook today as usual and i read a newsfeed from my friend sylvia who is blogging about 21 things she's thankful for, for the next 21 days... and i thought wow that's an awesome challenge for me especially with all the health issues i've been going through lately and so here I am...   

I'm always soo touched when I hear the song "how can i keep from singing" by chris tomlin... because if you really think about how awesome God is how can we ever stop.... and it's sad to think that it's sooo easy for us to forget and just be sooo negative so for the next 21 days i will try my hardest to focus on all the positive  things He is doing in my life.

21 thing i'm thankful for....

1. God for being soooooo awesome.

2. Windy days because it always makes me think about faith and how I want my faith to be soooo strong that i can move mountains.

3. Sylvia because God uses her and her randomness in ways that she wouldn't believe.

4.  My brother's even though i don't say it as much i get amazed sometimes how much i actually like them.

5. Breakfast foods cuz it's the best :)

6. My bible I'm excited that i'm actually reading it and learning new things everyday.

7.  Christian Music.... it elevates me and just fills my heart with so much joy.

8. The sunshine makes it seem a tad warmer than it is outside.

9. My mom who is always willing to cook me lunch even if i don't like it :)

10. My friends who stick by me no matter what.

11.  Freedom of choice because I like having options.

12. That i'm not allergic to any foods but celery

13. Elena that despite her young age she if full of wisdom.

14. The promise that God will provide... that helps in this economic crisis.

15. Jennifer my P.T. who was extra gentle with me today

16. Ice it helps reduce the swelling

17.  Carrots because they are the key ingredient to my favorite cake

18. Webcams because i can still see my old friends :)

19. jeanie and cj they made me smile today

20. the ability to speak spanish 

21. water... so many ppl have to travel miles for clean water and all i do is turn the knob...

Thank you Jesus for these 21 things and the many more I didn't mention
